He initially played baseball, but when he joined Shady Hill School in middle school, baseball was not an option, and some of his best friends were already into lacrosse. “I started playing in sixth grade…then I just started playing for the town of Cambridge,” Charlie explained. Starting with town-level lacrosse, he played there until eighth grade. Transitioning to Belmont Hill School, Charlie noticed a significant leap in competition and was encouraged by his friends to join a club lacrosse team.
